The Day Begins before Sunrise At 4:30 AM, my group and I gathered in hushed excitement, wrapped in fleece jackets and anticipation. The early wake-up call was softened by a warm cup of Kenyan coffee and the soft chatter of others equally eager for the skyward journey. We were in Amboseli National Park , one of the most iconic and scenic reserves in Kenya. As we arrived at the launch site, the silhouette of the balloon rising against a pale dawn sky was mesmerizing.
